Dead Planet is not a fringe group. We are a group of good people with big hearts who want to take a stronger and more politically aggressive stance on issues stemming from our overpopulation of our earth. We are teaming up to comb mainstream and independent media sources for reports, studies, articles to illustrate how desperate our situation is becoming. By compiling media concerning the planet and the harm we are visiting on it, we hope to create a media resource that educators, individuals, organizations, governments and members of the press can utilize.

For example NASA researchers now predict that the north pole will be ice free for the first time in human history as early as 2012 (3 years), this rapid melting is causing polar bears to drown to death in the north seas as the ancient ice breaks up and drift father and farther apart, vapourizing the polar bears native habitat. Events around the earth are flashing like warning lights on the car dashboard, we have to stop soon or we are dooming our children to a deadplanet that is unable to support there lives. The next 20 years will not be any thing like the last 20 years, many of the coming changes will be caused directly by shortages of water, oil, energy, food, even resources like platinum, and copper. Platinum and copper are basic elements that we depend on for many important modern technologies. These basic elements are growing more scarce and evermore expensive with each passing year. This trend is not somthing trivial such as the markets "correcting" this trend is not temporary.
